Fun with Dick and Jane!

“Fun with Dick and Jane”,  is the name of the Santa Monica softball team I’m on.  I must say, it’s a pretty awesome team with superb players.  The season started off a little shaky…….like the, “Bad News Bears” and I have to say…..We’ve come a long way baby!  We ended up in 3rd. place and made it all the way to the playoffs!  Not bad for a team playing together for the very first time.  We had so much fun that we decided to play another season.  Your’s truely plays short stop.  So stay tuned with upcoming games!

We made it to the playoff again! but since we lost the first round of games were out.  This season was a tough one for me because unfortunately I was hit in the eye by the softball and had to go the the emergency room and sporting a black eye for days!  Luckily, no damage done.  Whew!!
